About Me
Lydia had a passion for everything to do with homes from a young age. She started with visiting home design shows with her mother who had a flair for interior design and loved to look at various homes. Working for the city of Lynn on the north shore of Massachusetts from the young age of 14 during summers, to holding 2 jobs throughout high school, her incredible work ethic began at a young age. As a young adult, Lydia became more interested in following the real estate market and at the young age of 26 purchased her first home, a two-family that required a complete renovation down to the studs. Later she turned that 2 family home into condominiums, doubling the profit she made when selling as two condos instead of a two-family. From then on her passion for real estate investing was fueled and she continued investing in properties over the years.
Having been an insurance broker and staff manager for over 15 years, Lydia moved to the DC area for several years while raising two children, when they were very young Lydia decided to change pace while the children were young and worked as a preschool teacher part-time for 9 years while attending to her family and volunteering and chairing on committees in the community. While continuing to raise her family of two boys she also became an Alzheimer’s specialist and worked with seniors to improve their cognitive skills and also as a personal organizer for their homes. This was a labor of love that was especially rewarding. But that nag to become a Real Estate Agent became stronger and now Lydia, living back in Massachusetts closer to the south coast is now a licensed agent in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She covers a large part of Massachusetts and most of Rhode Island.
Lydia is also experienced in staging homes and often provides staging for listings. She has two young adult boys who love helping with the staging and plan to someday join their mother in her business, making a mother & son team. Having renovated several homes and restoring and painting furniture in her spare time, this is one of Lydia’s favorite things to do for a listing, as well as help others spot a diamond in the rough or fixer-upper for an investment or a great way to build wealth in equity.
Her niche is downsizers and retirees due to her extensive experience in senior affairs, however, she enjoys working with all types of sellers and buyers. She has had great success working with first-time buyers as well, she loves educating them on the home-buying process.
Lydia is very passionate about helping others and this is demonstrated in her incredible work ethic. Her clients rave about the skills, responsiveness, and the support they receive during the selling and buying process. She takes tremendous pride in the level of service she gives and vows to every client that she will be invested in their well-being throughout the transaction with trust, confidentiality, and integrity.
